I guess I took it a touch angstier with Danny having made that bold gesture with the heart and feeling a bit more insecure about Steve's feelings. They interacted like always but underneath it he was aching to know how Steve really felt. But that's cause I like me some angst. :D

Talk about a metaphor(damn,next they need a shot of them rolling around in the water and then show the waves crashing)!
