Snowflake Challenge Day 3
Jan. 3rd, 2012 06:11 pmSnowflake Challenge Day 3
Comment to someone you haven't ever interacted with before. Afterwards, leave a comment in this post with the equivalent of "I did it!"
It doesn't have to be anything complex - it can be feedback for a fanwork or discussing something you might have in common or even simply admiring their icon. The point is to reach out to someone you normally wouldn't and connect with them, even if it's only for the briefest moment.
I made a point of taking the time to comment on a fics by authors I had never commented to before. I tend to read a lot of fic on my iPad these days and then I end up not commenting because it takes longer to type and is harder to correct mistakes. I also have a bad habit of commenting on fic written by people I know or in fandoms I am more active in like H50. So last night I made a point to comment on a delightful Batman/Superman fic that made me smile as well as a few of the fic I recced for Day 2, but had only left kudos for.
