Snowflake Challenge Day 7

In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Well, since you asked:

♠ Art. I have always wanted art of any sort for any of my fics. I would adore anything: banners, digital manips, traditional art, fanvids, anything at all. I've always felt that one of the greatest honors is for something I write to inspire other people to create art and every single bit of art done for me in the past has been much treasured.

♠ Podfic. I've never had any of my stories recorded, but would be hugely honored if anyone was moved to do so. Hearing something I've written would literally blow me away.

♠ Fic. At the moment I have been craving fic featuring father and son relationships, in particular between Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson, but all I seem to find is slash. I would love recs to any fic that deals with the father-son dynamic (the good, the bad, and the ugly) between them. I would also love fic featuring the father-son relationship between Bruce and Alfred, Bruce and any of the other Robins, or between Connor and Clark or Lex. Recs would be great but if anyone is motivated to write me a fic feel free. :D

I'm not sure I can help for your gen Bruce+Dick request, but there's this (http://marcelo.dreamwidth.org/147094.html) short ficlet featuring Bruce and Alfred that I adore, and here's another couple of ficlets featuring Bruce, Dick and Tim: here (http://marcelo.dreamwidth.org/96718.html?#cutid1) and here (http://marcelo.dreamwidth.org/111932.html?#cutid1), for instance.

I don't know if you've tried looking through [Bad username or unknown identity: brownbetty"]'s fics? She wrote a lot of gen. One of my favourite on the theme of a father-son relationship if Heart, Humble (http://brownbetty.dreamwidth.org/51873.html?#cutid1), but it's about Jack and Tim's relationship, so really not what you were asking for. I've at least found this little gem (http://brownbetty.dreamwidth.org/36168.html?#cutid1) of a snippet featuring Bruce, Alfred, and wee Dick.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of other gen Bruce+Dick fics I've read, and I'm sorry for how short most of these are. Good luck!

HIi! I saw this on the Snowflake challenge, and would like to offer you podfic of "The Cooper Fowler Relationship Fallacy" and its sequel. I really enjoyed them, I like reading aloud, and Big Bang Theory is the only one of the fandoms that you write for that I'm at all familiar with. =] It'll take me a little while to find the time to record (I live in a rather noisy house) and edit, but I do plan to get it to you soon! Before I record, though, I had a couple questions for you:

1. Is "The Emotional Attachment Determination" still in progress? And if so, would you rather that I did or did not record that one? It seemed like a good stopping point to me, but you do have it tagged as WIP, so I wasn't sure. =]

2. Would you like the author's notes and disclaimers included in the recording? If you would, I would like to put the disclaimers at the beginning of the the story, and the notes at the end -- as opposed to all at the beginning of each chapter. It's a personal preference when listening, but I don't want to detract from the credit you've given at the beginning of the chapters or anything.

I expect to have a lot of fun reading your Sheldon, and thanks for the opportunity to record something. =D

I am so honored that you want to record them! They are close to my heart and I would love for them to be made into podfic.

As to your questions:

1. I had originally intended a much longer fic, but now looking back at it I think you are right. The ending is kind of perfect as it is. Thank you for prompting me to look at that again. I have changed it to complete on my master list and AO3.

2. I would like to make sure the disclaimer is in and that it's set between seasons 3 and 4 is mentioned at the beginning, but other than that don't worry about the notes.

Seriously, I'm blown away that you want to record this. I had a lot of fun writing Sheldon and would love to hear him come to life. :D
