marvel_bang needs you!

We still have several unclaimed stories over at marvel_bang, and we'd love to have you! If you are interested in Marvel comics and movies, especially Avengers or X-Men, take a look - we might have something you're interested in. Our definition of art is really broad - we'll take traditional art, digital art, manipulations, famixes, vids, pretty much anything! Check out the claims post here. :D

I don't have an artistic bone in my body (except for the writing bone) but I would be willing to do a fanmix, podfic combo for someone - do you think someone would be disappointed with that? (I have an Aussie accent so am always hesitant to podfic someone's stuff unless they're someone I know and has asked me for it).

We are not opposed to the idea of podfic, and I think that most authors would adore it regardless of your accent (I know I would), but we are cautious. We've told others who asked about podfic that they would need to talk to their author about it because of the timing. The author would need to have a polished fic completed in time for you to record and some authors may not be prepared for that.

A fanmix would always be awesome though. We ask that fanmixes be 8 songs plus cover art, but it doesn't have to be fancy graphics or images, just something visual. We are very flexible here. :D

I might hold off because I am REALLY not good at graphics etc which is why I was going to offer podfic, mix combo but you're totally right about the story having to be at a podficable level pretty early.

I just feel kinda greedy now because I've had two stories claimed. *chews fists*

Don't feel greedy! I'm glad that artists were drawn to your fic!

However, if we have some that still need claiming in a few more days, I get to do a lot of mediocre (at best) graphics and if you still want to help I could totally do the graphics for a fanmix or two if you do the actual song selection. :D
